Outreach & Community Services

The Angel Tree

At Christmas parishioners can pull envelopes off a Christmas tree and purchase gifts for those in need.

The Clothes Line

An offering of free, gently used clothing, especially for children. Located in St. Mary of Grace's Parish Center, the Clothes Line is open one Saturday per month.

Meadville Soup Kitchen

The Meadville Soup Kitchen is held weekdays at Stone United Methodist Church on the Diamond. The parishes participate by providing food and monetary donations. Also, each parish has a volunteer day:

St. Brigid - 3rd Thursday

St. Agatha - 3rd Friday

St. Mary of Grace - 2nd Thursday

Pastor's Fund/Food Pantry

This fund helps people in need of a one-time emergency assistance. The parish also has an in-house food pantry supplied by the generous donations of parishioners.

Sister Parish in the Yucatan

St. Brigid participates in the Diocese of Erie Mission of Friendship program and has one of the oldest "sister parish" relationships in the Diocese. The sister parish is St. Peter, in San Pedros, Sotuta, Yucatan (Mexico). St. Brigid provides financial support, Mass intentions, and other support as needed to this community in Mexico. The relationship offers us a "world view" of the Church, while assisting a Catholic community in need.
